What BootStrap stores

BootStrap keeps everything on your own computer. Your settings, fast flags, mods and launch history live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\BootStrap. Nothing about you or your gameplay is sold, shared or profiled.

What BootStrap downloads

At launch BootStrap contacts Roblox's servers to fetch the latest game client — the same requests the stock launcher makes. It also checks GitHub for new BootStrap releases so it can offer updates.

What we never do

• We never ask for your Roblox password. Launching happens through Roblox's official login window.
• We never inject code into the game or modify how it runs beyond file-level mods you choose.
• We never include ads, trackers or bundled third-party software.

Uninstalling

Removing BootStrap through Windows Settings (or its built-in uninstaller) deletes the program files. You can choose to keep or remove your settings and mods during uninstall.
